About the People and Leadership Statement

The People and Leadership Statement is an 'umbrella' statement designed to guide people management strategies and practices in the department. Other people and leadership documents such as the Workplace Diversity Strategy and recruitment guidelines provide further instructions and guidance on specific elements of the Statement.

Indigenous Australian recruitment and career development strategy 2005-2007

A strategy to impart a working knowledge and appreciation of cultural awareness into everyday business of the department, to provide a range of recruitment, retention and development opportunities and to assist the achievement of departmental outcomes through effective management of best practice human resource management.
