Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Hunter region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).
Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

|Jobs in the Valley & Vines: Transforming Lives
||Smart Training and Consulting Group
||This activity includes a hospitality mentoring and employment project run by Smart Training and Consulting Group in the Hunter region. The project will deliver a six-week non-accredited training program for a minimum of 30 participants, including a 30-hour work placement to secure hospitality jobs in the Hunter Valley.
|Destination Muswellbrook Program
||The Trustee for Brown Brown Lloyd Unit Trust (trading as Recovery Partners)
The Destination Muswellbrook Program addresses structural and cultural challenges to increase the capabilities of job seekers and support them entering employment in the manufacturing and construction sectors. The activity will involve the use of allied health specialists, vocational assessments, training and skills development as well as mentoring and supported introductions between job seekers and local employers.

||This activity involves delivery of a purpose-built program, housed on an established work experience Virtual Intern platform, that will transition job seekers, mainly aged 18-25 years, into high growth Bartending/after-dark and hospitality venues across the Hunter Employment Region.
