The stars of Australia’s skills sector are being recognised at the 2021 Australian Training Awards with the unveiling of 75 finalists, as well as a recipient of the new Outstanding Achievement in the VET and Skills Sector Award.

The Australian Training Awards shine a spotlight on outstanding individuals, businesses and registered training organisations who demonstrate best practice and innovation in the nation’s critical vocational education training (VET) sector.

The 2021 awards will be held virtually on 18 November and will see state and territory award winners compete for the national title. In addition, the first recipient of the new Outstanding Achievement in VET and Skills Sector Award will be named, in acknowledgement of their contribution and leadership in the sector for more than 15 years.

Other award categories recognise standout efforts made by students, apprentices, trainees, teachers, schools, registered training organisations and employers. As ambassadors for VET, all award finalists have the opportunity to join the exclusive Australian VET Alumni.

The Australian Training Awards are the largest national awards recognising the nation’s vibrant VET sector. To see a full list of the 2021 finalists, visit the Australian Training Awards website.
