As our workforce experiences unprecedented changes, there has never been a more important time to have accurate information about education, training and work options.

Your Career was launched by the Australian Government as an authoritative source of careers information, helping people of all ages take the next step in their career. 

Delivered by the National Careers Institute (NCI), Your Career provides easy-to-navigate careers information powered by world-leading labour market intelligence from the National Skills Commission.

Your Career provides information about study or work options based on tailored careers information and highlights support programs available to help.

It also features career quizzes including: 

  • options now to find the types of jobs currently available or a short course to build a person’s skills
  • future career options to find study, training or job options that support a person’s career needs or goals.

Information and support for school leavers

To help school leavers navigate their future career options, Your Career includes the NCI’s School Leavers Information Kit (Information Kit) and the School Leavers Information Service (Information Service). 

The Information Kit - Your Career: What’s next for you? offers tailored information about education, training and work options to help school leavers to navigate the changing labour market. 

The Information Service provides advice to school leavers on how to get the best from Your Career website and how to access relevant government programs and support services. It also includes a free, personalised careers session with a qualified Career Practitioner.
