National Careers Institute Partnerships Grants program Round Two successful applicants announced.
More than $5.8 million of Australian Government funding has gone to 16 projects approved under Round Two of the National Careers Institute (NCI) Partnership Grants program.
Round Two of the program offered grants from $20,000 to $525,000 for up to 18 months for applicants to deliver innovative career development services for people at all stages of their careers.
The 16 successful applicants will deliver projects including face-to-face careers guidance, industry and work experience activities, careers resource development and career mentoring.
The projects will improve career pathways for many Australians by enhancing partnerships between industry, employers, schools, tertiary providers and community organisations.
The 16 successful organisations are:

- AMES Australia (Opening Minds, Building Futures – a careers development project)
- Australian Capital Territory Council of Social Service Inc. (ACT Health and Community Services Careers Hub: Know you made a difference)
- Central Queensland University (Excited 4 Careers in Agriculture)
- Community Disability Alliance Hunter Incorporated (Peer2Peer)
- Community Migrant Resource Centre Incorporated (Career Pathways to Future Success)
- Eurobodalla Shire Council (Creating Careers Pathways)
- Glenelg and Southern Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network (Enhance Work Placement Experience for Everyone)
- Holmesglen Institute (Uncovering Careers in tunnelling and underground operations)
- Hume Employment Service Limited (SPI a Careers – Students, Parents and Industry promoting careers to year 7–10)
- Jobs South West Inc. (Job South West Careers of the Future Program)
- Moonee Valley City Council (Mamma’s Kitchen Co-designed Career Guidance for Migrant and Refugee Women)
- University of South Australia (University of South Australia Careers Compass)
- University of Sunshine Coast (Crystallising STEM Careers)
- Wodonga Institute of TAFE (ABC – A Boost to Careers program)
