Workforce Australia National Forum 2022

National Forum 19-20 September 2022

The Workforce Australia National Forum is an event for the department and its stakeholders to collaborate and engage in meaningful discussions around employment service delivery.

On 19 and 20 September, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations hosted the National Forum in Brisbane. The event was attended by 130 employment services provider representatives and Employment Facilitators from across Australia. The forum was an opportunity for the department and its stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions on employment service delivery.

Day 1 of the forum included an opening address from our very own DEWR Secretary, Natalie James and a keynote address from Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations and Minister for the Arts, The Hon Tony Burke MP.

Day 2 of the forum kicked off with a workshop session for Employment Facilitators, followed by sessions about creating Communities of Practice, Transition to Work and Self-Employment Services workshops and an interactive panel discussion on collaboration.

“The CEO Forum was a fantastic opportunity for someone new to the role like me to jump ahead - it was really beneficial and fast tracked both my knowledge and networks” - Nick Probert, Employment Facilitator - Hobart and Southern Tasmania Employment Region.
