Secure Australian Jobs Code: submissions open

The Australian Government is committed to establishing the Secure Australian Jobs Code to prioritise secure work in government contracts. This means ensuring government purchasing power is being used to support businesses that engage in lawful, fair, equitable, ethical, and sustainable practices.

The government expects suppliers who are providing goods and services for the operation of government are held to high standards, are contributing to the shared goals of Australia, and are doing the right things by workers.

Submissions are now open. We want to hear from all impacted stakeholders, including:

  • businesses of all sizes
  • workers and their unions
  • industry groups
  • not-for-profit organisations and
  • the general public.

Head to the Consultation Hub for more information and to submit your feedback.
