Strategic Review of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System
The Strategic Review of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System was established to ensure the apprenticeship system provides the skilled workers Australia needs. The Review has now been delivered to government, having considered opportunities to increase the take-up and completion of apprenticeships and traineeships. The final report was publicly released on 24 January 2025.

Jobs and Skills Australia
Jobs and Skills Australia provides independent advice and has genuine tripartite partnerships with state and territory Governments, industry, business peaks, unions and training providers to ensure the training system is fit for purpose and addresses the skills crisis in this country. The Jobs and Skills Australia Act 2022 (the Act) requires that the Minister for Skills and Training commence a review into the operation of the Act by August 2025.
The Review provides an opportunity to consider the functions, governance arrangements and operations of Jobs and Skills Australia now and into the future. The Review is expected to conclude late 2025 and be tabled in early 2026.

The resources developed aim to build awareness, strengthen visibility of job opportunities and help to create culturally safe work and learning environments in the decarbonisation workforce.
