Bobby
Organisation: Swinburne University of Technology
State/Territory of training: Melbourne, VIC
Bobby is passionate about supporting others. As a volunteer at a local neighbourhood learning centre, he supports people in his community by assisting with mental health services. Bobby was previously studying a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. While the course was delivered face to face, it required strong computer skills. Due to his limited digital skills, Bobby found it challenging to keep up with the course requirements.
Bobby joined the SEE Program to build the essential computer and digital skills needed to complete his Certificate in General Education for Adults (CGEA), supporting his goal of pursuing further study and a career in the mental health sector.
Through the SEE Program, Bobby has developed confidence using computers, navigating online systems, and completing and submitting coursework independently. The support from his teachers and classmates has been the key to his progress.
With his strengthened computer skills and confidence, Bobby is now on track to return to his Certificate IV.
“It’s not what you get, in the way of education that’s important. It’s what you make of what you get, that’s important!”
Farjana

Her jewellery reached customers across Australia and internationally. Her business is now growing steadily, both locally and globally.
