The VET Data Streamlining program was established to modernise the way VET student and training activity data is collected, managed, and utilised by the whole sector.

In 2018, there was an independent review of Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector. The aim of the review was to make sure Australians have the skills they need to succeed in a changing labour market.

The Australian Government has committed to delivering a collaborative, tripartite VET sector that brings employers, unions and governments together to find solutions to skills and workforce challenges.
