A total of 39 assessing authorities are approved to deliver skills assessments to support applications for skilled migration. Each assessing authority has its own assessment procedures, timeframes, and charges.

Find an Assessing Authority
To find the assessing authority for your occupation, search the skilled occupation list on the Department of Home Affairs website, Skilled occupation list.
The assessing authority roles and responsibilities are set out in the Guiding Principles and Standards for Skilled Migration Assessing Authorities (the Guide).
Announcement: The Institution of Surveyors NSW (ISNSW) has been formally legislated as the assessing authority for the Surveyor occupation (ANZSCO 232212) and is listed on the Federal Register of Legislation.
For migration purposes, ISNSW is now accepting applications for skills assessments.
The Hon Minister Giles MP, Minister for Skills and Training, approved the appointment of ISNSW as the new assessing authority for the Surveyor occupation (ANZSCO 232212).
