The Local Recovery Fund and the National Priority Fund ceased on 30 June 2025. No further procurement activity for the Local Recovery Fund or the National Priority Fund will be undertaken.
The Australian Government has announced extension of the Local Jobs Program through to 30 June 2027. The Program extension continues the Australian Government's commitment to place-based approaches and maintains support to communities, workers and businesses as the Government works through the next phase of employment services reform.
The Local Recovery Fund and National Priority Fund have been consolidated into a single fund - Local Jobs, Local People to support place-based activities as part of Employment Services Reform.
