Notice of VET FEE-HELP Debt Removal

Legislation operated from 1 January 2019 which allowed the removal of VFH debt incurred because of inappropriate conduct by a VFH provider or their agent.

The below debt removal notices outline the relevant providers and details of VFH debts which have been removed or are in the process of being removed.

If you were a student with one of the below providers and studied with that provider during the period specified in the debt removal notice, you can check if your debt was recredited by logging onto myHELPbalance. To access myHELPbalance, sign in using your Digital ID (myID). If you don’t have Digital ID, you can follow the instructions here, How to set up myID | myID. The first time you sign in, you will need to link your student record using your Unique Student Identifier (USI) or Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number (CHESSN) and student ID.
