Provider Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) Requirements

Workforce Australia Services Providers (Providers) offered a licence to deliver Services are required to achieve QAF Certification, which sets out the minimum standards of quality for Providers, ensuring their policies and processes support continuous improvement and quality service delivery.

To obtain QAF Certification, Providers must:

  • achieve certification against one of two approved Quality Standards
    • ISO 9001:2015; or
    • National Standards for Disability Services (NSDS)
  • demonstrate adherence to the department’s Quality Principles
  • achieve certification against Right Fit For Risk.

Providers are required to engage a department approved Quality Auditor for Quality Principles audits.
