The National Construction Industry Forum held its fourth meeting on Friday, 27 June 2025.

On 22 September 2025, the National Construction Industry Forum (the Forum) formally endorsed the Blueprint for the Future.  The formal endorsement represents the strong commitment and engagement of Forum members to create lasting and tangible change across the building and construction industry. It demonstrates a new way of stakeholders working together to give way to a culture of collaboration and shared interests.

In developing the draft Blueprint for the Future, the Forum used a conceptual framework based on each stage of the construction project lifecycle. Members used the construction project lifecycle framework as a conversation template. 

By framing their discussion around the stages of a construction project, members were able to take a holistic approach in identifying and prioritising challenges facing the industry. The framework allowed members to consider and appreciate the interconnectedness of issues, the shifting roles and responsibilities of industry participants, and the ripple effects of decisions made in the early stages of construction work.

The National Construction Industry Forum held its third meeting on Wednesday, 16 October 2024.

The National Construction Industry Forum held its second meeting on Friday, 23 February 2024.

The National Construction Industry Forum held its first meeting on Friday, 20 October 2023.

The Terms of Reference for the National Construction Industry Forum were endorsed by the members of the Forum at its first meeting on 20 October 2023.
