Entrepreneurship Facilitators promote and encourage self-employment and entrepreneurship. They help people to start and develop their business. They also help existing micro-business owners to keep their small business open.
Entrepreneurship Facilitators may also recommend other relevant small business support services, including Self-Employment Assistance.

On 1 July 2022, the Self-Employment Assistance program will replaces the New Business Assistance with NEIS program. NEIS participants will continue to be supported in their NEIS business. New Business Assistance with NEIS is still available for eligible residents of Norfolk Island.
