In a significant move to bolster Australia’s clean energy sector, the Australian and Queensland governments have partnered to establish the TAFE Queensland Batteries Centre of Excellence.

The Australian and New South Wales governments are jointly investing $53.95 million to establish the TAFE NSW – Western Sydney Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence at the Wetherill Park Campus.

The Australian and South Australian governments are jointly investing $28 million over 5 years to establish the Centre through the National Skills Agreement.

Training for the care sector is being boosted with the Australian and Queensland governments jointly investing $35 million to establish the Care and Support TAFE Centre of Excellence in Cairns.
