Employment Services Reform Advisory Group

The Employment Services Reform Advisory Group brings together technical expertise and practical experience from across the employment services landscape.

On this page:

The Advisory Group works closely with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations to inform the design of a future employment services system is practical, achievable and focused on better outcomes for people who use it.

Its role is to provide advice to government on the detailed redesign of the employment services system, so the future system is more responsive to individual needs, easier to use and better able to help people move into secure, sustainable work.

The Advisory Group will meet regularly in 2026 to provide feedback on detailed reform design, offer strategic insights and directly share their points of view.
