Employment Services Assessments
Employment Services Assessments are a meeting with a qualified health or allied health professional to help understand:
- Barriers to work
- Reasonable work capacity
- The best type of employment services provider for you.
Supported Wage System
The Supported Wage System allows employers to pay a productivity-based wage for people with disability. This can be for employees in open or supported employment.
You're eligible if:
- you're an Australian citizen or permanent Australian resident
- you're at least 15 years old
- you have no outstanding workers’ compensation claims
- you meet Disability Support Pension (DSP) impairment criteria - this is an assessment done by Services Australia.
The job related to the Supported Wage System application must:
- be covered by industry awards or laws that allow employment under the Supported Wage System
- be for at least 8 hours a week.

The National Disability Recruitment Coordinator (NDRC) helps employers helps employers hire and support people with disability. Through an employer partnership, employers can receive:

- Disability awareness training
- Recruitment guidance
- Job vacancy distribution service.
