National Skills Week runs from 25 to 31 August 2025. It’s an annual week of activities that celebrates and promotes vocational education and training (VET).
This year’s theme is ‘explore ALL the options’. No matter what stage of life you’re in and no matter the career path you are looking at taking, there are plenty of options available for you to explore through VET.

Australian VET Alumni
Did you know you can engage Australian VET Alumni members to promote your programs through participation in events or online publications?
The Australian VET Alumni is made up of a national community of VET ambassadors, including individuals, registered training providers, VET practitioners, VET leaders and businesses who are passionate advocates for VET.
Ambassadors share their personal stories to raise awareness of the multiple career options that are available through VET and share best practice and innovation in their industry. VET ambassadors are a genuine and authentic connection to those who are curious about VET.
