Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Darwin (includes Alice Springs) region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

The activity will provide a range of assistance and support to individual job seekers and link them with employers to facilitate their path to employment. |

The Innovative Finishing School project will deliver a training program to up to 45 participants that aims to reskill and upskill jobseekers from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background for entry level jobs in retail, hospitality, small and medium business, and health and community services. The project will also work with local employers with vacancies to ensure training is suitable to their needs. |

This activity is for Indigenous Territorians in hospitality services in areas of food and beverage, administration/reception, laundry, maintenance and grounds keeping. The activity will provide intensive post-placement support to participants and their prospective employers within the Darwin and Alice Springs Employment Region. It will be delivered in stages to accommodate the supplier meeting their workforce needs for a short term contracts providing hospitality and utility services at the Robertson Barracks. |
