Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Adelaide South region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).
Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

||This activity will support 10 Aboriginal participants aged 18-24 to complete a pre-employment training and motivational course, industry focused training, a placement with a host employer, and intensive mentoring support.

||This activity will deliver pre-employment hospitality training in two locations in Adelaide South Employment Region, which will cover accredited and non-accredited modules on customer service and skills practice to prepare participants for work in the hospitality industry.

||This activity will assist female participants (including long-term unemployed) to become employment ready for the construction industry. The activity will offer foundation skills, an Introduction to Construction Skill Set (including White Card training) and a First Aid course.

||This activity will assist 40 young job seekers to become employment or training ready through a 5 day non-accredited training program that will cover a range of topics including life skills, health and lifestyle choices, confidence, resilience, emotional intelligence, mental health and employer expectations.

||This activity will assist job seekers to become employment ready for the civil sector by participating in employability skills and civil industry accredited training. The training will help increase industry work readiness and exposure by placing participants into traineeships, apprenticeships or employment in the civil sector.
