Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Gippsland region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

||This activity involves the delivery of an online, tailored training course—as co-designed with local disability care employers to ensure alignment with local industry needs and role requirements—to prepare 36 Participants for entry-level roles in the disability care sector, as well as Participant mentoring and career coaching. This activity will also facilitate the placement of at least 24 Participants within the disability care sector. The activity is run by Generation Australia Ltd.

||The activity involves delivery of an eight-week training course to prepare 100 participants for entry-level employment in traineeship carer roles within the health care sector. The training course will be co-designed with local health care employers to deliver accredited and non-accredited training in alignment with local industry needs and role requirements. The activity is run by The Trustee for Mickamob Trust, trading as Ternary Consulting.
|Unbeatable Customer Service – Contact Centre Program

This activity involves delivery of pre-accredited job readiness training tailored to the job role requirements of contact centre employers.
The three-week Unbeatable Customer Service – Contact Centre Program training will prepare up to 100 participants for a variety of local contact centre roles, together with facilitated job placements. Course curriculum will be co-designed with local employers and training organisations to align with local industry needs and role requirements.
