Local Recovery Funds

A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Wivenhoe region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.

Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

Job Match Disability and Aged Care Program Community Services Industry Alliance Limited The Salvation Army Employment Plus This activity involves a customised employment pathway into the health care and social services sector for up to 30 job seekers to reskill and upskill them into roles with partner employers. The activity will deliver eight weeks of pre-employment training to support job seekers into employment as trainees with local health care and social services agencies in the Wivenhoe Employment Region.
Aged Care Workforce Activation Program Prestige Staffing Solutions Ltd The Salvation Army Employment Plus The activity involves a tailored employment pathway into the health and community care sector, engaging participants in a five-week training program to upskill, reskill and guide them into entry level roles in Aged Care and Individual Support. Participants will receive mentoring and undertake a vocational placement, and as trainees, will be supported into employment with local health and community care services in the Wivenhoe Employment Region.
Verifact Traffic Management Employment Pathway Verifact Traffic Pty Ltd Yourtown

The Verifact Traffic Management Employment project is a tailored employment pathway into the traffic management sector for 48 participants. The activity is designed to reskill and upskill participants into roles with the host employer by providing entry level skills in traffic control licences, work readiness, and goal setting. 

Pre−employment training will be delivered across 4 tranches and will assist participants into employment and traineeships with local traffic management services in the Wivenhoe Employment Region.
