Building connections, sharing knowledge and shaping the future of employment at the 2026 Employment Services National Forum

This year’s program explored the changing employment landscape, highlighting the economic, social and workforce trends shaping the future of employment services. Discussions examined the evolving needs of job seekers and employers, the employment services reform, and opportunities to better support individuals into sustainable and meaningful employment.

A few keynote presentations and panel discussions spoke about service delivery, workforce participation and the future direction of employment services in Australia such as the employment services reform.

This in turn will drive high-quality servicing across the system and deliver better outcomes. The Employment Services National Forum reinforced the value of collaboration in navigating a changing employment landscape, fostering discussion on emerging issues and encouraging the exchange of ideas, insights and lessons learned across the sector.
