Building Women’s Careers marks one year of impact across Australia

Twelve months on from the announcement of its project partners, the Building Women’s Careers (BWC) Program is celebrating an important milestone: 1 year of driving real, structural and cultural change.

Launched to support women and benefit everyone, the BWC Program funds bold, inclusive partnership projects aimed at transforming workplaces and strengthening Australia’s future workforce.

Over the past year, the program has continued to deliver on its ambition: big ideas, real action, and meaningful progress across the focus industries of construction, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and digital and technology.

The first year of the BWC Program has already demonstrated genuine impact, delivering 20 projects with involvement from 175 partners across Australia.

Through targeted skills and training opportunities, inclusive program design, and stronger pathways into secure work, the BWC Program is helping build a more inclusive, skilled and resilient economy.
