The 2026 National Student Outcomes Survey is now open and will close on Sunday 9 August.

Around one million VET students who completed a qualification, course or subject in 2025 will be invited to share their views on VET in Australia.

Managed by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), the survey gathers information on students’ experiences and outcomes, including their reasons for training, satisfaction with their provider and employment or further study outcomes.

Information collected through the survey will help:

  • inform the design and delivery of future training courses and programs in Australia
  • provide deeper insights into Australia’s VET sector
  • support students to make more informed decisions about their training options.

The 2026 National Student Outcomes Survey will close at 11.59 pm AEST Sunday 9 August.
