Roles

  • Up to 5 vacancies as a Disability Support Worker/Personal Care Worker, across the Central Coast, NSW
  • Employed as a casual at $43.23 per hour, minimum of 20 hours per week

The candidate information session will take place at 11:00am -12:00pm AEDT on Thursday 22 January 2026.

Candidates who want to participate in the project will be asked to:

  • submit a written expression of interest at the end of the information session on Thursday, 22 January 2026
  • participate in an Activity Day on Tuesday, 10 February 2026.

Job description

Tasks involved:

  • Assist with the daily care of clients.
  • Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning, food preparation and shopping.
  • Monitor or administer medication.
  • Guide and encourage clients to live independently.
  • Perform administrative duties, for example client files and case reviews.

Prerequisites:

  • Valid driver's licence (current full licence or in the process of gaining full licence).
  • 100-points of identity documents.
  • Willing to undertake a national police check, Working with Children Check, and National Disability Insurance Scheme worker screening check.

  • Life and workplace skills training tailored to the role.
  • First aid and CPR training.
  • Workplace visits and job shadowing supported by a workplace buddy.
  • Mentoring to support your success during the project and when you commence in employment.
