• 10 horticulture and landscaping roles across South East Melbourne, Victoria – refer to the table below for details of the employers, their roles and the tasks involved.

The virtual candidate information session will take place at 11:00 am on Friday 23 May 2025.

Job description

The employer is looking for people who are:

• committed and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in the horticulture or landscaping field
• physically fit to perform the role
• interested to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
• good at communicating and working in a team
• punctual and reliable. 
• Must have the identity documents required to complete a National Criminal History check and return a satisfactory National Criminal History check (for Oasis Horticulture and Brocor Landscaping roles). The project coordinator will organise and pay for this check if you are shortlisted.

Prerequisites required:

• Must have the identity documents required to complete a Working with Children check (for Brocor Landscaping roles). The project coordinator will organise and pay for this check if you are shortlisted.
• Must be able to pass a medical check and drug and alcohol check (for Oasis Horticulture roles). Your provider will organise and pay for this check if you are shortlisted.
• Driver’s licence and car to be able to travel to work sites (for Oasis Horticulture and Mansfield’s Propagation Nursery roles).

• Life and workplace skills training tailored to the role
• Accredited training in how to use gardening and farming hand tools and to obtain a White Card
• Job shadowing at employer sites
• Mentoring to support your success during the project and when you commence in employment
