  • Permanent part-time at $25.85 per hour with a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Job description

Tasks involved

  • Attending to the needs of the guest and of the hotel.
  • Preparing rooms to the required standard.
  • Replenishing and controlling guest supplies and amenities.
  • Rotating and replacing room items.
  • Reporting missing items from guest rooms.

The employer is looking for people who have:

  • basic language, literacy, and numeracy skills – to use their rostering app and read simple instructions (support will be provided on the project)
  • physical capability to stand for several hours
  • sufficient physical ability to undertake cleaning tasks quickly and efficiently
  • good communication skills and an eye for detail.

  • Life and workplace skills training tailored to the role.
  • Practical workplace activities including job shadowing and completing basic tasks under supervision.
  • Mentoring to support your success during the project and when you commence in employment.
