The VDS Developer Portal is a technical resource designed to assist Student Management System vendors and other relevant stakeholders with their own systems to connect to VDS APIs.

It allows developers to access the APIs, tools and resources they need to build, integrate and manage their software applications into STARS – the new system that underpins the VET Data Streamlining Program (including the new VET Information Standard) and improves VET activity data submission processes.
Please be aware that in line with this, the VDS Developer portal is designed for users with a solid level of technical knowledge and experience in using APIs.
