Feedback from consultations has informed the design and implementation approach for the Skills Guarantee Procurement Connected Policy (PCP).

Targeted consultations, supported by a discussion paper, commenced in late 2022 and engaged with industry, unions, employers, peak bodies, state and territory governments, women’s organisations, academics and Commonwealth agencies.
Two further consultation tranches were undertaken in July 2023 and December 2023 to refine the PCP. Additional consultations and a discussion paper in December 2024 sought feedback on the proposed targets for ICT procurements.
Australian Skills Guarantee Consultation – Discussion Paper
To inform the design and implementation of the Skills Guarantee, stakeholders were invited to read the Australian Skills Guarantee Discussion Paper and make a submission. Submissions closed on Thursday 22 December 2022.
