Australian Government response to the Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee’s report on the Fair Work Amendment (Protecting Penalty and Overtime Rates) Bill 2025
On 30 October 2025, the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations wrote to the President of the Senate, confirming the Australian Government provided its response to the Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee's report on the Fair Work Amendment (Protecting Penalty and Overtime Rates) Bill 2025 during debate in the Senate on Tuesday, 26 August 2025 and Wednesday, 27 August 2025. The Minister's letter and relevant Hansard extracts were tabled in the Australian Parliament on 6 November 2025.
