Local Recovery Funds

A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Bendigo region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.

Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

Release The Beast Release The Beast Pty Ltd CVGT Australia Limited This activity involves a training and placement program for participants entering the hospitality industry, consisting of four, three-week courses encompassing employability skills, hospitality training in an operational café, entry training, employer linked activities and post placement support. The activity assists individuals from youth, mature aged and CALD cohorts to meet labour market needs of the industry. The activity will facilitate employment opportunities via local hospitality contacts, MAS National (apprenticeships and traineeships) and Employment Service Provider contacts.
KARM Bounce Consulting Pty Ltd CVGT Australia     This activity involves workshops for participants to gain behavioural customer service skills needed to work safely and effectively in the current post−pandemic customer service environment. The KARM activity will leverage its existing employer networks to link graduating participants to employment.
Taster Course in Early Childhood Education Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services Inc. Serendipity (WA) Pty Ltd This activity involves the provision of 3 Bilingual Support Officers who will provide direct support to 15 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) participants to complete 2 Units of Competencies in a Cert 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
